The World Championship of Chinese Cuisine (WCCC), regarded as ‘The Olympic of Chinese Cuisine’, is the paramount of Chinese-style cooking competitions. Organised by the World Federation of Chinese Catering Industry (WFCCI) in selected countries once every 4 years, the championship invites players and teams from Chinese cuisine restaurants from around the world.

In 2016, the 8h edition will be held in Netherlands for the first time, proudly hosted by Stichting landelijke Federatie van chinese orgaisaties in Nederland (LFCON).

Some 100 teams from around the world consisting of more than 400 chefs are expected to participate, including Singapore, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Netherlands, France, Spain and Korea. The teams will prepare six dishes, from appetizers to main courses and desserts, all within 2½ hours. This will culminate with a tasting for the distinguished judging panel and a vibrant artistic display for the public to view.
